Nancy D. Pellegrino, Director

A financial services industry leader with extensive experience in human capital management, business development, marketing, strategy, and risk management, Nancy D. Pellegrino became a Director for Mechanics Bank in September 2025. She had been serving as a Director for HomeStreet Bank since 2019, which merged with Mechanics Bank on September 2, 2025.

From 2014 to 2018, Ms. Pellegrino served as a Director for Puget Sound Bank, helping guide its successful merger with Heritage Financial Corp. Previously, in Seattle, she was Managing Director and Regional CEO for Citi Private Bank, for which she built and led a team delivering comprehensive wealth, investment, risk management, lending, fiduciary, capital markets and banking services. She held prior leadership roles at BNY Mellon, Banc One and Texas Commerce Bank Trust Company.

Committed to service in her Pacific Northwest community, Ms. Pellegrino has more than 25 years of corporate and nonprofit board experience. She currently serves as Director Emeritus and past Chair of the Board for Woodland Park Zoo, and previously held board leadership positions with Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, Seattle World Trade Center, Bellevue Boys and Girls Club, and several significant Pacific Northwest arts organizations. Ms. Pellegrino is a member of Women Corporate Directors, the National Association of Corporate Directors, and is a graduate of the OnBoarding program sponsored by Deloitte, Perkins Coie, and Spencer Stuart. She was also named a “Woman of Influence” by the Puget Sound Business Journal in 2009.

She holds a B.A. in Fine Arts from Vanderbilt University and attended an executive leadership program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. As well, she is a graduate of the Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University.
